In the grand tradition of Open Plans (since way back in 2022!). today we're introducing you to our new cohort of summer interns with some fun meet-and-greet questions. These bright students are from Fannie Lou Hamer High School and Brooklyn College's Urban Sustainability program. (We also have a graduate school internship program; you'll meet them soon.) Say NO to a 15 mph e-bike speed limit

The City's proposed 15 mph limit on e-bikes is half-baked and not helpful. Criminalization is not the right way to get safer streets for every NYer. Tell the City you oppose this nonsensical rule by leaving a comment and registering to testify on July 7th.

🍂 From streets to parks, NYC's trees need your voice! Join the planning process for our city's inaugural Urban Forest Plan, designed to equitably expand tree coverage while improving air quality and managing stormwater. Survey closes June 30th - help shape climate solutions that work for every borough and community.

 

🎷 All-women salsa band Lulada Club takes over Plaza de las Americas! Saturday, June 28th, 1-3PM (175th & Broadway) features high-energy Latin jazz celebrating women's artistry in music.
