🏡 Petition: Bring LTNs and affordable housing to Western Queens
About 60% of residents in Queens Community Board 1 don't own a car, yet the district has roughly 180,000 square feet of city-owned surface parking lots. Our friends in Queens CB1 are pushing for public space that matches how people actually get around. That means LTNs to cut through traffic and make walking safer, and turning those parking lots into affordable housing near transit. Sign the petition to support pilots of both in Western Queens.
